Important Open Day Information

Here you'll find information about getting to the Open Day, where to park and what to do when you arrive, and places to stay during your visit.  

We’re far easier to get to than you might think – there are good road links to ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ along the north Wales coast from the M56 and M6.

By road

Postcode LL57 2DG will bring you to the Main University Building, where our Open Day begins. There are several University car parks around the Main University Building and also in lower ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ.

If you follow the ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ Open Day signs around ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ and you'll arrive at one of our car parks (where parking is free of charge). Open Day guides will then show you where you need to go. 

By train or bus

By ferry

From Ireland, you can cross on the ferry to Holyhead which is half an hour away from ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ.

By air

Both Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport are around two hours from ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ, by train or car

Parking at the University car parks is free of charge. Park and Ride facilities have been arranged for the Open Day – this will be signposted from the A55/A5 approach roads to the University. Buses will take you the short distance from the car park to the Main University Building between 8.30am-10.30am. Visitors can also park in any of the University’s designated car parks  around the Main University Building on College Road, but space here is limited.

The University’s Management Centre has 4* guest accommodation. ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ’s 3-4* Visit Wales graded campus accommodation also offers single en-suite bedrooms - you can book online. For those of you wishing to make your own arrangements please contact .
