Social Life

Unfortunately, my year in ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ coincided with the heaviest Covid-19 pandemic restrictions in Wales which made socialising more difficult, however, I formed good friendships with my flatmates at St Mary's and was able to enjoy the amazing countryside of North Wales with friends I made at the University.

The Location

ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ has everything. It's on the doorstep of Snowdonia, there are sandy beaches a bus ride away. There is a rich culture with historical treasures. My favourite locations include Penmon and South Stack lighthouses on Anglesey as well as Newborough beach and the Menai Bridge.

Best thing about ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÌúËãÅÌ?

The course and the weather. If you come from a hot country like me, being able to stare at the clouds and watch them grow darker before they empty themselves on you is a great experience. The sun still comes out occasionally, showing off the beauty of this natural landscape.
